The Little Bone Broth Company

The Little Bone Broth Company is made up of husband and wife team Alex and Catherine Watson.
Their story began a few years back when they started making bone broth at their family home in Christchurch. The products were born from a passion for wellbeing and a love of good cooking. Alex has been working on recipes ever since, and now they've honed what they think is a pretty tasty drop. From hospo and healthcare backgrounds, they care as much about health and wellbeing as they do about great tasting food. The Little Bone Broth Company is the coming together of these two passions.
They reckon bone broth is one of the world’s oldest ‘superfoods’. A source of nourishment and wellbeing for centuries, cultures around the world turn to its restorative properties to this very day; the naturally occurring nutrients in bone broth are said to have many different health benefits. That’s what sparked their interest. Pure and authentic, their broth is made with 100% natural ingredients (locally sourced where possible) and no added extras. There’s almost more to say about what doesn’t go into it than what does!
True believers in ‘good things take time’, every batch is slowly simmered for up to three days to draw out all the flavour and nutrition, resulting in a tasty, nutrient-rich broth that’s preservative free and low in fat and sodium.

Alex and Cat are also running Pure Kitchen, our supplier of delicious, nutritious raw treats.
