Jess Murchie-Bown and Don Murchie began Brown Acres Microgreens in Taitapu in 2020 after discovering that these tasty treats were really only being used as a garnish in restaurants. This inspired them to grow, harvest and deliver ‘fresh as possible’ certified organic microgreens! Microgreens are young vegetable greens that contain 4-40 times more nutrients than their fully grown counterparts! With so many benefits, nutrient-packed goodness and ways to using microgreens, Jess and Don are passionate about sharing how tasty and nutritious these farm-fresh superfoods are.
