Canterbury's Choice
The Irvine family have farmed their Springston property for forty years. During milking their girls listen to classical music and munch on home-grown barley grain. They graze on lush Selwyn pastures for most of the day and native plants and trees shelter them from the weather.The Irvines grow all their own feed which means no palm kernel. They also farm using organic principles so avoid harmful sprays, hormones and antibiotics. It was always a dream of David Irvine to bring back tradition by supplying Cantabrians with milk in glass bottles, as his father did. The second generation wanted this to become a reality and with this, Canterbury’s Choice was established.
