When Fernando Gutierrez and Marita Lopez arrived in New Zealand from Argentina a decade ago, they discovered their new home offered something very familiar– a strong barbecue tradition that was as much about sharing food as creating memories with family and friends. At the time their local supermarket offered just one type of vegetarian patty, so in the time-honoured tradition of necessity being the mother of invention, they went to work creating an Italian style vegan sausage. What started as a handmade project in their kitchen, grew to selling successfully at farmers markets in their hometown of Christchurch, as word spread about their great taste.  Ananda was born out of a passion for cooking.  Ananda products are fresh, healthy, handmade and without any additives or artificial colours. Locally made with LOVE.
